Terra Tag Terms of Service - Updated 30 July 2025
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Terra Tag website, located at https://www.terratag.com.au/ ("Website"). By using the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Website.
2. Intellectual Property Rights
All content, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and digital downloads on the Website, is the property of Terra Tag or its content suppliers and is protected by Australian and international copyright laws. Unauthorised use or reproduction of the content is strictly prohibited.
By purchasing our product, you agree that we may use images of you with our product on our social media channels. We may also use these images for marketing and promotional purposes. If you do not want us to use your images, please let us know in writing at hello@terratag.com.au.
3. Use of the Website
You agree to use the Website for lawful purposes only and in a manner that does not infringe on the rights or restrict the use and enjoyment of the Website by any third party. This includes but is not limited to, conduct that is harassing, defamatory, or abusive, and the transmission of obscene or offensive content.
4. Order Process, Engagement, and Deposit
Offer: A quote provided by Terra Tag is an invitation for the Client to make an offer to purchase, valid for 30 days.
Acceptance: The Client is deemed to have accepted the quote and these Terms & Conditions in full upon the earliest of the following events:
a) The Client pays the 50% non-refundable deposit; OR
b) The Client provides instructions for Terra Tag to commence Pre-Production Services. "Pre-Production Services" are defined as any substantive work or consultation undertaken by Terra Tag at the client's request after a quote has been provided. This includes, but is not limited to:
Submitting artwork or design files for review, feedback, or test printing.
Requesting digital proofs, mock-ups, or data-merging.
Submitting guest lists for formatting or review.
Non-Refundable Deposit: A 50% non-refundable deposit is due upon acceptance, as defined in clause 2. This deposit secures the Client's place in our production schedule and covers the initial administrative and design costs.
5. Final Balance and Production
The client must provide their final, confirmed quantity by the deadline date we provide to them. A final invoice will then be issued, adjusted for any changes from the initial estimate. The final balance must be paid in full before the order will be sent to production for printing. Terra Tag is not responsible for production delays caused by late submission of final numbers or late payment.
6. Cancellation Policy
As all orders are custom-made, we adhere to a strict cancellation policy.
Cancellation After Engagement but Before Deposit Payment: If the Client cancels an order after it has been engaged (as defined above) but before the 50% deposit has been paid, the Client will be invoiced for all time and materials spent on Pre-Production Services up to the point of cancellation. This will be billed at our standard rate of [$150 per hour + GST] and is payable within 7 days.
Cancellation After Deposit Payment: If the Client cancels an order at any time after the 50% deposit has been paid, the deposit will be forfeited in full to cover all administrative, design, and material costs incurred.
Cancellation After Final Payment: No refunds will be issued for cancellations after the final balance has been paid and the order has entered production.
7. Pricing and Payment
All prices on the Website are in Australian dollars and are inclusive of GST. Prices are subject to change without notice. Payment for purchases made on the Website must be completed in our website payment form
8. Shipping and Delivery
We ship Australia-wide using trusted carriers including Australia Post and national courier services.
Production & Delivery Timelines:
Production Time: 2–5 business days from the point of artwork approval.

Adelaide: 4 days
Perth: 7 days

Express Delivery (Business Days):
Canberra: 1–3 days

Tasmania: 3 days
Once dispatched, all orders include a tracking number so you can follow your parcel’s journey.
Important Note: While we do everything we can to deliver on time (and we’ve never missed a delivery), we rely on third-party carriers. Terra Tag is not liable for delays caused by postal disruptions, extreme weather, or courier service issues beyond our control.
9. Quality Guarantee & Returns Policy
At Terra Tag, we take immense pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our products. Each order is custom-made with care for your specific event. Our goal is to deliver a product that you are thrilled with. This policy outlines our commitment to quality and the process to follow in the rare event that an issue arises. This policy is in line with the Australian Consumer Law.
1. Our Quality Guarantee (If We Make a Mistake)
We stand by the quality of our work. If you receive a product with a defect in our materials or workmanship, we will work with you to find a fair resolution.
A "defect" refers to an error made by Terra Tag, such as:
Printing on the incorrect paper stock specified in the order.
A physical printing error (e.g., ink smudge) that was not present on the final, approved digital artwork.
Incorrect sizing or hole-punching that deviates from the approved order specifications.
In the case of a defect, as determined by us, we will rectify the issue at our expense. In line with Australian Consumer Law, the remedy will depend on the nature of the issue:
For a minor issue, we will offer to reprint the affected portion of your order at no cost to you.
For a major issue that cannot be rectified or renders the product unfit for its purpose, you are entitled to a replacement or a full refund.
2. Data & Content Integrity (The Client's Responsibility)
The client is solely responsible for the accuracy and integrity of all data and content provided to us.
For orders requiring personalised details (such as guest names, titles, and company names), the client-provided spreadsheet is considered the "source of truth." Our service is to merge this data exactly as it is provided into the approved artwork template.
Terra Tag is not responsible for errors originating from the client's data. This includes, but is not limited to:
Misspelled names or words.
Incorrect titles or company names.
Grammatical or punctuation errors.
Any other inaccuracies present in the client's final submitted spreadsheet.
We strongly advise clients to meticulously proofread their spreadsheet before submitting it. A reprint required due to data errors in the client-provided file will be at the client's full expense.
3. Final Artwork Approval
The most critical step in our process. This artwork shows how your approved artwork and your provided data will appear. We will produce your order exactly as it appears on the final proof you approve. By approving the artwork, you are confirming that the layout, design, and data merge are correct.
4. Issues Not Covered by this Policy
Due to the bespoke, custom-made nature of our products, we do not offer refunds or exchanges for the following:
Change of Mind: This includes event cancellations or deciding to go with a different product or provider after an order has been approved and produced.
Colour Variations: Please note that colours can appear differently on handmade paper compared to the digital artwork. We cannot guarantee an exact colour match.
Damage in Transit: We package our orders securely. If your order arrives damaged, please notify us within 48 hours with photographic evidence of the damage to both the packaging and the product. We will then lodge a claim with the courier service on your behalf.
5. How to Make a Claim
In the unlikely event you need to make a claim under our Quality Guarantee, please follow this process:
Contact us at hello@terratag.com.au within seven (7) days of receiving your order.
Please include your order number and a clear description of the issue.
Attach clear, well-lit photographs of the product that clearly show the defect.
We will review your claim and respond within two (2) business days. Please do not return any items until we have confirmed the next steps with you.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Terra Tag will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, or other intangible losses, arising from your use of the Website or any products purchased through the Website.
11. Use of Customer Orders for Promotional Purposes
By purchasing from Terra Tag, you grant us the right to use and publish images, descriptions, and other details of the products we create for you across our YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, and website channels. This includes showcasing the final product as part of our marketing and promotional activities. If you prefer that we do not use your order for these purposes, please notify us in writing at hello@terratag.com.au.
12. Changes to the Terms
Terra Tag reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated Terms on the Website. Your continued use of the Website following the posting of changes will indicate your acceptance of those changes.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.

These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Terra Tag with respect to your use of the Website and supersede all prior or contemporaneous understandings or agreements, written or oral, regarding such subject matter.
